Yult's playfulness and obsession with sound 'crafting' shows an affinity with the dark and experimental. While Tanya’s voice tempers the edges, disarmingly instinctive, an expressive storyteller addressing themes of internal struggle, paranoia, pride and duality, with lyrics inspired by as diverse sources as William Blake, David Lynch, George Clinton to old British soldier songs from WW2.
